A modern building rendered half in wireframe, half in photoreal light

3D & architectural visualization · oaklandpark, fl

fathom.
we draw the depth of buildings before the first footing is poured.

photoreal renderings, animated walkthroughs and virtual staging — built frame by frame so architects and developers can show what isn't there yet.

how a render is made

from drawing set to delivered frame

every project moves through the same five passes. nothing is rushed and nothing is auto-pilot — each stage is set by hand before the next begins.

01

site & intent

we read the drawing set, the materials schedule and the sun path. we ask what the frame needs to convince — the investor, the board, the buyer.

02

model & massing

geometry is built true to spec — slab edges, mullion widths, reveal depths. the bones have to be honest before any light touches them.

03

materials & light

surfaces are assigned grain by grain — brushed brass, troweled plaster, low-iron glass. then we set the hour and let the sun do the work.

04

the long render

frames cook overnight at full resolution. like a long exposure, the patience is the point — clean light, no shortcuts in the noise.

05

grade & deliver

final color, a touch of film grain, the crop. delivered as print-ready stills, web sets, or graded video — your name, not a watermark.

drag, swipe, or arrow → through the five passes

a flat elevation rarely sells a building. depth does.

send us your drawing set and we'll tell you exactly what it takes to make it stand up.

what we make

four ways to make the unbuilt believable

pick a single twilight still or a full animated tour — every piece is priced per the scope, and every figure below is a real starting point.

Exterior twilight render of a contemporary residence

exterior stills

the hero shot — twilight, golden hour, or overcast. modeled to the drawing set, lit for the cover of the brochure, and graded like photography.

from $880 / per view

request a view
Sunlit interior render with brass and plaster finishes

interior stills

materials assigned grain by grain — the floorboard, the joint, the reveal. furnished or bare, set to the exact hour the light flatters the room.

from $740 / per room

request a room
Frame from an animated architectural walkthrough

animated walkthroughs

a moving camera through the unbuilt — approach, entry, the reveal of the volume. scored, paced and graded as a short film for the pitch room.

from $6,400 / per 45-second cut

plan a walkthrough
Empty room virtually staged with rendered furniture

virtual staging

empty shells dressed convincingly — furniture, art and warmth dropped into your photographs or models, matched to the room's real light.

from $295 / per room

how we work

the difference is in what we refuse to fake

measured to spec

true geometry first

we won't bluff a detail to save an hour. mullion widths, slab edges and reveal depths come straight off your drawings, so the client is looking at the building you'll actually pour.

honest light

real sun, real hour

we set the date, the latitude and the time, then let physically-based light fall where it falls. the twilight in the render is the twilight your site will get.

same two hands

modeled and graded by one studio

no offshore pass-throughs, no template kit-bashing. the person who builds your model is the person who grades the final frame — start of file to delivered crop.

your file, your name

delivered clean

full-resolution stills, web sets and graded video — no watermark, no licensing fine print. the work is yours to present however the pitch demands.

have a deadline circled on the calendar?

tell us the date the investors sit down. we'll build the schedule backward from it.

the questions architects actually ask

straight answers — turnaround, what we need, and what happens when the design changes mid-render.

01 how long does a still take?

a single exterior view typically lands in 7–10 business days from a complete drawing set; interiors run 5–8. complex schemes or rush dates we'll price and schedule honestly up front rather than overpromise.

02 what do you need to start?

a dimensioned drawing set or model (revit, rhino, sketchup, cad or pdf), a materials schedule if you have one, and a few reference shots of the mood you're after. the more precise the set, the truer the frame.

03 can you work from rough sketches?

yes. we regularly model from hand sketches and early massing studies — we'll flag the assumptions we make so nothing gets quietly invented behind your back.

04 how do revisions work?

each still includes two rounds of art-direction notes — camera, light, materials, staging. further rounds or design changes after geometry is locked are billed by the hour at $95, quoted before we touch the file.

05 who actually owns the final files?

you do, outright. delivered full-resolution and unwatermarked for print, web and presentation. we only ask to keep a copy in our own portfolio once the project is public.

the studio

to fathom once meant to stretch two arms wide and measure the deep by hand. we still work that way — one frame, one hour of light, one honest detail at a time — until an unbuilt thing stands up convincingly enough to fund.
